SKU 9809 is a 5mm diameter × 3mm thick N35 neodymium disk magnet suited to Hall-effect, reed-switch, AMR/TMR, proximity and position-sensing applications that need more magnetic volume than an ultra-thin sensor disk. It is axially magnetized through the 3mm thickness and is part of Radial Magnets’ Sensor Magnets catalog.

Sensor Design Considerations

The listed surface-gauss and pull-force values do not by themselves define sensor performance. For a magnetic sensor, specify and validate the field magnitude and orientation at the actual working gap. Mechanical offset, nearby ferromagnetic material, temperature and tolerance stack-up can change the field seen by the sensor.
