Mounting and application notes

The countersunk holes provide a direct mechanical mounting option for compact fixtures, access panels, magnetic catches, and equipment assemblies. Because neodymium is brittle, avoid excessive fastener torque, impact, and uneven clamping around the countersunk areas.

The listed pull force is a reference value under defined test conditions. Air gaps, steel thickness, paint, surface finish, temperature, and side loading can reduce usable force. Use the Magnet Pull Force Calculator for preliminary screening and the Neodymium Magnet Grades Chart for material comparisons.
