Mounting and application notes

The countersunk holes allow the magnet to be mechanically fastened to a nonmagnetic support or structural component. Sintered neodymium is brittle, so avoid over-torquing fasteners or introducing bending loads around the holes. Through-thickness magnetization places the poles on the broad faces.
