This 120mm (4.72 in.) single-sided N35 neodymium fishing magnet is designed for high-force magnet fishing, recovery and salvage applications where a large active face can be brought directly against ferrous material. Its single-sided construction concentrates the working magnetic face on one side of the assembly, making it a strong choice for vertical pickup and direct-face retrieval when good surface contact can be achieved.
The listed pull-force rating is 411.26 lb. That value should be treated as a controlled direct-contact rating, not a guaranteed real-world recovery capacity. Actual holding force can fall substantially when the target is rusty, painted, curved, thin, uneven, partially buried, contacted at an angle, or separated from the magnet by debris or other gaps.

A single-sided fishing magnet is generally best when the active face can land directly against the target and the goal is maximum pickup through that face. A double-sided design can be more forgiving when dragging or sweeping because either face may contact submerged steel. For that use case, compare the 60mm Double-Sided Fishing Magnet.
Recovery performance depends on much more than the catalog pull-force number. Steel thickness, contact area, corrosion, coatings, curvature, debris, pull angle, leverage and side loading all influence how much force is available in the field. A large flat clean steel surface will usually provide much better contact than a narrow, rounded or heavily corroded object. See Magnet Pull Force vs. Push Force for more detail on how pull ratings should be interpreted.
