What Affects Real Recovery Force?

Steel thickness, contact area, corrosion, coatings, curvature, debris, pull angle, leverage and side loading all influence how much force is available in the field. A large flat clean steel surface will usually provide much better contact than a narrow, rounded or heavily corroded object.
