SKU 9663 is an N35 neodymium ring magnet measuring 15.80 mm OD × 6.50 mm ID × 5 mm thick. This larger metric ring provides a substantial annular cross-section around a 6.5 mm center bore for assemblies where both clearance and magnetic holding capability are important.

The magnet is axially magnetized through its 5 mm thickness. North and south poles are located on the flat annular faces; this stock product is not a true radially magnetized ring.

How to Specify a Metric Ring Magnet

Ring magnets should be specified using OD × ID × thickness together with the magnet grade, coating, tolerances and magnetization direction. The ID can be especially important when the magnet must clear a shaft, fastener, sleeve or locating feature, while the remaining annular cross-section affects the magnetic circuit.
