Design notes for this gold-plated ring

Check the inside diameter and dimensional tolerance against the mating component. Provide clearance and support the ring in its housing; forcing a brittle ring onto a shaft or tightening directly against it can chip or crack the magnet. Validate the gold-plated finish against the actual contact materials and environment.

Check the complete assembly at the intended air gap and loading direction. Listed pull force is a comparison value, not a safe working load; target steel thickness, contact area and surface condition affect actual holding force. Provide clearance in the housing and protect the brittle magnet from impact during installation.

The listed maximum temperature is 80°C. Evaluate the complete magnetic circuit at the intended operating conditions, including gaps and opposing fields. Axial magnetization puts the poles on the faces; use the specified orientation when comparing another ring for the same assembly.
