N35SH Neodymium Block Magnet 12.7 × 12.7 × 2.29 mm – SKU 8637

SKU 8637 is an N35SH neodymium block magnet measuring 12.7 × 12.7 × 2.29 mm, with Ni-Cu-Ni plating. It is magnetized through the 2.29 mm thickness, with the north and south poles on the opposing 12.7 × 12.7 mm square faces. The SH grade offers a higher listed temperature capability than standard N35.

Design notes for this thin metric block

This square metric block can be considered for compact fixtures, holding arrangements or sensing assemblies where a field through the thin dimension is required. Position the pole faces relative to the mating steel or magnet and account for the housing wall, adhesive layer and any other gap in the magnetic circuit.

Check the complete assembly at the intended air gap and loading direction. Listed pull force is a comparison value, not a safe working load; target steel thickness, contact area and surface condition affect actual holding force. Provide clearance in the housing and protect the brittle magnet from impact during installation.

The listed 150°C maximum is a material selection reference, not a guarantee for every assembly. Validate the magnetic circuit, opposing fields and performance at the intended temperature. Check adhesives and housing materials against their own limits, and protect the nickel coating from damage during handling.
