Coating and application considerations

The epoxy coating provides an additional corrosion barrier, but coating integrity should still be protected from chips, scratches, abrasion, and impact. For immersion or aggressive chemical environments, validate the complete assembly and coating system for the specific service conditions.

The listed pull force is a reference value under favorable direct-contact conditions and can be reduced by air gap, paint, thin steel, surface roughness, curvature, temperature, and side loading. Use the Magnet Pull Force Calculator for preliminary screening and browse pot and mounting magnets for related styles.
