SKU 8368 is an N35 neodymium disc magnet measuring 1 inch in diameter × 1/32 inch thick. It is axially magnetized through its thickness, placing the north and south poles on the two broad circular faces. Its wide, ultra-thin profile is suited to low-profile closures, displays, signage, sensors, prototypes, and compact assemblies where available depth is limited.

Design notes for this ultra-thin 1-inch disc

The 1/32-inch thickness helps conserve space, but the thin geometry also makes the magnet more vulnerable to bending, impact, and uneven clamping. Support the disc evenly during assembly and avoid snap-together collisions. Sintered neodymium magnets are hard and brittle.

The listed 2.34 lb pull force is a comparison value under defined contact conditions, not a guaranteed safe working load. Air gaps, target-steel thickness, coating, surface roughness, and shear loading can reduce usable force.

Use the magnet pull force calculator for preliminary magnet-to-steel screening and compare material options in the neodymium magnet grades chart. Browse our magnet catalog or submit the magnet RFQ builder for volume pricing or a custom requirement.
