Design and mounting guidance

Align the working face with the target steel and keep contact surfaces clean. Evaluate the actual substrate thickness, coating and loading direction. For elevated-temperature applications, validate magnetic retention and the supporting hardware together at the intended operating conditions.

Listed pull force is a comparison value rather than a safe working load. Target steel thickness, air gaps, surface condition and loading direction affect actual retention. Test the complete assembly under its intended conditions before production.

The listed maximum magnet temperature is 120°C. Allowable operation depends on the magnetic circuit, opposing fields and required performance. Check adhesives and housing materials against their own limits, and protect the magnet and coating from impact during installation.

Compare the neodymium grades chart, review the temperature derating calculator, or browse related magnet sizes. Submit drawings, operating conditions and quantities through the Magnet RFQ Builder.
