N52 ring design notes

N52 provides higher magnetic energy than lower neodymium grades, but this part also has a lower listed maximum operating temperature. The 3/16 in center opening can provide clearance for a shaft, fastener, pin, or assembly feature while maintaining a broad annular pole face.

The listed pull force is a reference value under defined contact conditions. Air gap, target-steel thickness, contact area, surface finish, temperature, and load direction all affect actual performance. Use the Magnet Pull Force Calculator for preliminary screening and review What Is a True Radial Magnet? when comparing axial and radial ring designs.
